The first week in Seoul We have been here for 4 days now... have taken a few pictures as we have wandered around. Nothing terribly exciting, just Seoul. I would say its 'downtown' Seoul, but in a city of 12-13 million there does not seem to be anything other than downtown. One think I didn’t get a picture of was a ‘blind’ guy on the subway and his wife (presumably). He had a bag slung over his shoulder playing this really sad music and rattled this pan for handouts, with his wife holding onto his coattails. Now I put blind in quotes because this dude had regular glasses on (not even that thick) and was holding his eyes closed. We chuckled and hypostasized that this guy was probably a millionaire who fed off of the generosity of others.
